In this slice-of-life comedy featuring an ensemble of todayʼs funniest comedic actors, parents get down and dirty as they become feverishly obsessed with their 7 year-old daughtersʼ soccer season. From tryouts to the State Cup Championship game, Kathy (Janeane Garofalo – SNL, The Truth About Cats & Dogs) is swept up into the mania of competitive, over-involved parents who stop at nothing to ensure their daughters get the playing time and training to make it to the top. The worshipped Coach Nick (Christopher Titus – Comedy Central, Titus) has everyone in the palm of his hand: the tennis skirt- donned know-it-all mom (Cheri Oteri – SNL) and her frenemy (Rebecca Budig – All My Children), the social climbing divorcee (Reiko Aylesworth – 24), the college scholarship- obsessed dad (Bill Sage – American Psycho), and the assistant coach (Michael Boatman – Arliss, Spin City) who constantly seeks approval to compensate for a lack thereof from his emasculating wife (Kristen Johnston – 3rd Rock From the Sun). Amidst carpools, laundry, and orange slices, Kathy struggles to keep up with the madness while desperately trying to maintain her sanity.
