My Grandma passed away over 10 years ago, but just last week my Grandpa gave a jewelry box to my girls. My mom had already gone through the box and taken out any valuable items and she said the girls could play with the rest. Little did I know that opening the box would be a treasure for…me! Although there are no diamonds or pearls, the whole box looks like it came out of Anthropologie. 
The workmanship on some of the items is amazing and I’ve been uncovering many treasures. Now, I’m not really one for big jewelry, but I’ve been branching out and wearing some different looks. My two favorite pieces are the turquoise beads and the black beads. I wore both these looks this week and got many compliments!

I don’t know if I’ll ever wear the broaches or the earrings, but it’s been fun to play dress up and remember my beloved Grandma. I hope she’s looking down and enjoying her pieces once again being worn and loved.
