It’s the first of June! I can’t believe that my girls get out of school next week and summer is about to begin. One thing you might not know about Southern California is the “June Gloom” that inevitably descends upon the beach communities. May is a beautiful month, but the minute June hits we have cold foggy mornings which don’t usually clear until early afternoon…if at all. Looking out my window right now I see…heavy fog and a temperature of 59!
The key to getting dressed is making sure you have layers so that you can transition from a cold morning to a hot afternoon. I also try to wear things that are work appropriate (casual, but cute and conservative) but that will also be comfortable to sit and watch the girls at soccer practice. I usually just have time to take off my sweater and change my shoes.
What’s June weather like where you are?

Love the aqua and coral looks.
We don’t live near a beach, but have been having 90 degree weather since March, but it is only in the 60s this week!
Thanks! We’ve been having a lot of hot weather as well, but June 1st came and bam the fog came in.
Funny, I thought life in California was always sunny and 75! 🙂 Love these outfits. Totally pinning them!
Lol, it is usually 75, but not until 2:00. Today I wore a heavy sweatshirt until the sun decided to appear at 1ish. None of my posted outfits would have been warm enough to wear outside. Oops!
