Hooray! The splint is off, the hand is healed and she’s cleared to play. It’s been a long three weeks, but it’s been oddly freeing in such a tumultuous time of year. Big Soccer Girl has definitely had her struggles recently and I wondered if this was going to be the end of playing club for her. She says she is ready and excited to go back, but between swollen feet from bee stings, a concussion from playing futsal and a broken hand from skateboarding it hasn’t been and easy season for her and her playtime and development has definitely been compromised. I’m cheering for her no matter what she decides or what team she’s on, but this is something that she has to do for herself- I need to stay on the sideline.

Glad to see she is out of the cast!! Hope it all works out and she finds the right team or sport! I’m dreading the possibility that might happen in the future for purely selfish reasons…love watching my dd play the sport! Take care!
Thank you Krista!
